ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police have released details on a brief chase Monday that ended with the suspect crashing his vehicle into a tree in St. Cloud.
Twenty one year-old Seth Wallin had a warrant out for his arrest. He was wanted for a controlled substance charge and was suspected of violating a no contact order.
The chase began after an officer spotted Wallin in a vehicle in a parking lot near the 500-block of U.S. Highway 10 just after 9:30 Monday morning. Wallin sped off and led officers on a short chase that ended when he crashed into a tree in the 1500 block of Second Street Southeast. He fled on foot but was arrested a short time later.
Police say Wallin had a small amount of methamphetamine in his possession when he was arrested. He was booked into the Stearns County Jail.
