ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The arctic chill is here.
A cold mass of Canadian air expected to arrive in Minnesota this weekend was making its presence felt early Saturday morning.
St. Cloud dropped to 2 above zero--making it the coldest morning of the season, and not much improvement is expected.
Sunshine will be present on Saturday, but high temperatures are expected to barely climb out of the double digits. The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temp of 12 degrees in St. Cloud, with wind chills as cold as -13 below zero.
Temperatures should moderate slightly on Sunday. Highs will warm to around 26, but gusty south winds will keep wind chill values below zero.
