BAXTER, Minn. (AP) - Another water park in Minnesota has been linked to the intestinal disease cryptosporidiosis.

Minnesota Department of Health officials say a case of the water-borne disease has been connected to the Lodge at Brainerd Lakes. State epidemiologist Trisha Robinson says the lodge has worked with the department's environmental health officials and highly chlorinated the water park. The pool was closed Monday and reopened Thursday.

The Brainerd Dispatch says the health department confirmed one case of the disease linked to the lodge's water park and at least two other suspected cases.

The health department recently linked the parasitic disease to the Edgewater Resort and Water Park in Duluth. The resort's owners closed the operation and disinfected the park before opening again.
