ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Another month of below normal precipitation is about to go into the books for the city of St. Cloud.

Only .73 of an inch of precipitation has been recorded at St. Cloud Regional Airport in October. That's 1.7 inches below normal, and it comes on the heels of the second driest September on record in St. Cloud.

Over the past two months, the city has received just .97 of an inch of moisture, which is 4.92 inches below average.

Central Minnesota is now considered to be in severe to extreme drought conditions.
