ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - An Anoka man was arrested after assaulting his girlfriend in a St. Cloud parking lot early Friday, according to St. Cloud police.

Police arrived on the 1800 block of St. Germain Street West just before 1 a.m. Friday. Investigators determined the victim, identified as a 33-year-old St. Cloud woman, was attacked by her boyfriend. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where she was treated for significant, but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, Kelijah Jarrod Walton of Anoka, was located near the police station and arrested. Due to prior convictions, Walton, 32, was charged with counts of 3rd degree felony assault, 5th degree domestic assault as well as DWI.
