SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (KNSI) The State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash just north of Sauk Centre. It happened Saturday night, just before 10pm.

Fourty year-old Eric Raisanen of Annandale was a passenger on a northbound motorcycle on U.S. Highway 71 when he fell off the cycle near the entrance to the Grey Stone Golf Course.

Raisanen was then subsequently struck by a passing motorist traveling north. The driver of that vehicle did not stop at the scene of the accident.

The State Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle that fled the scene. It's believed the vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper area, and the patrol says debris from the scene suggests a Buick Regal as the suspected vehicle.

The motorcycle was driven by 56 year-old Joseph Becker of Foreston. He was not injured.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the State Patrol's St. Cloud District Office at 223-6666.
