BUFFALO, Minn. (AP) An Annadale man has been convicted of first-degree murder for killing another Annadale man and setting him on fire.

The jury returned the verdict Wednesday against 46-year-old Keith Richard Rossberg.

The county attorney's office says Rossberg entered 63-year-old DeVan Hawkinson's home on March 25 or 26 in 2011. Rossberg then allegedly shot Hawkinson six times in the back of the head with a .22-caliber pistol as Hawkinson sat in his chair in his living room.

Authorities say Rossberg then lit Hawkinson on fire in an attempt to destroy the crime scene.
