LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (KNSI) An Albany man has been arrested and faces charges after a residential burglary in Morrison County.

Deputies were called to a home in Elmdale Township at 6 pm Tuesday.

The suspect had gained entry into the home by kicking in a front door. He was armed with a machete.

He fled before deputies got there, but was later located at a residence in Albany.

He's identified as 23 year-old Corey Pirttila. He was taken to the Morrison County Jail pending formal charges.
