PAYNESIVLLE, Minn. (KNSI) A St. Cloud hazardous chemical and assessment team is trying to determine what sickened students at a Paynesville school.

Paynesville Superintendent Bob Huot says seven students felt woozy during a choir concert Monday night and were taken to a hospital. He says they went treated and felt fine by Tuesday morning.

The Paynesville Area Secondary School students started feeling sick again as classes resumed Tuesday, so the school sent students home at about 11 a.m.

Huot says carbon monoxide levels were tested Monday night and again Tuesday but neither test had high levels.

Two students were taken on stretchers to ambulances Tuesday.

The school has grades six through 12.
