MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - About 120 people turned out for a vigil for a 5-year-old boy fatally shot while sleeping on a couch in his grandmother's north Minneapolis house.

Those who attended Saturday's vigil for Nizzel George called for an end to gun violence in the neighborhood.

Nizzel was killed Tuesday morning when someone fired shots at the house. Two juveniles were arrested in the case and charges could come as early as Monday.

Minnesota Public Radio News reports (http://bit.ly/KUIHLt) that neighborhood residents will try to start community crime watches and persuade teens to give up guns.

V.J. Smith with MAD DADS says it's about coming together, taking a stand and showing kids that: ''You're not going to just kill our babies and get away with it.''
