ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Forgive Minnesotans if they're a little giddy over Wednesday forecast calling for temperatures reaching into the seventies.
It will be the warmest day yet this spring after what was the coldest winter the state has experienced in some 30 years.
St. Cloud is expected to reach a high of 72 degrees, The normal high is 52, and the record high for the date is 79 degrees set in 1930.
St. Cloud received 67 inches of snow this winter. Officially, the snow depth is now at just one inch, primiarly in shaded areas that receive little or no direct sunlight.
The warm weather won't last too long. Forecasters are calling for highs to cool back into the mid 40s by Sunday.
