ST. PAUL, MN (AP) - A 4-year-old boy is still hospitalized in critical condition after he was hit by a motorcyclist who sped away.

The Star Tribune reports Sunday that police are still looking for the driver who hit Tyrell Baymon.

Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare says in a statement that Tyrell's family wants to thank their family members, friends and community for support.

Police say the boy was on his way to his birthday party when he was hit Saturday afternoon. He was holding his mom's hand at the time, when a motorcyclist _ speeding and doing wheelies _ hit him, then sped away.

Police are still searching for the driver of a royal blue sport bike, with likely front-end damage.

Anyone with information is asked to call (651) 291-1111.
