CALEDONIA, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say three people are dead and a fourth critically injured after a small plane crashed in southeastern Minnesota.
The Houston County sheriff's office says the crash happened two miles south of Caledonia at about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
A farmer reported a possible plane in a field to the sheriff.
The sheriff's office says three fatalities are confirmed. The injured person was taken to hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
