BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have arrested three people but a fourth suspect remains at large after a manhunt in Beltrami County.
A citizen's tip led to the arrest of two Ponemah men who were walking on a road Tuesday. A 20-year-old woman was arrested earlier on an outstanding warrant but was not booked into jail.
The Pioneer reports sheriff's deputies are still searching for a 23-year-old Bemidji man.
Just before midnight Monday, the sheriff's office got a report of gunfire in downtown Turtle River. Officers began chasing a car that sped away. Three people ran away after abandoning the car on a wooded trail about 11 miles north of Bemidji. The woman was arrested in the car.
A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter with thermal imaging equipment was used early in the search.
