13-year-old boy on bike killed by semi

WINTHROP, MN (AP) - A 13-year-old Winthrop boy has died of injuries suffered
when he was struck by a semi while riding his bike.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Jacob Weber was one of several children riding bikes on Highway 15 Saturday and crossed in front of a semi. Weber was critically injured and flown to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. The State Patrol says Weber died on Sunday.

The Free Press (http://tinyurl.com/8pkcufn) reports the 23-year-old driver of the truck was not injured.
