(KNSI) - People came out on a cold Sunday afternoon to honor area Veterans at the Veterans Day Parade at the St. Cloud VA.

The parade had 35 entries this year, everyone from the St. Cloud VFW Post 428 to the Girl Scouts of St. Cloud to the Rock On Trucks float.

The Rock On Trucks "Operation Respect" float (pictured below) featured a powerful display about the price for our freedom.

Tracy, who works at the St. Cloud VA, was at the parade with her family.

Her daughter Shyla walked in the parade with the Girl Scouts.

Her other daughter Mckenna was holding a big sign that read Thank You Veterans, and had several names on it.

"We have a ton of family members who have been in the military," Tracy said.

She says the sign, with names like Mitch, Skip and Jackee, was made to honor all of their parents, uncles, cousins, grandparents and others who have served.

Tracy is a mental health social worker at the VA and sees firsthand just how much help Veterans need.

We asked her how people can help.

"Just show up, to things like this, show up and support them."
