(KNSI) - If you're headed to the Great Minnesota Get-Together, we've got you covered.
Fair spokesperson, Danielle Dullinger, told KNSI's Ox in the Afternoon all the tips and tricks you need to know to manage the crowds, pricing and parking.
To help the flow of traffic on the fairgrounds, a new walking path was added.
"There is a new walking path that cuts through the block that is south of Sweet Martha's. So a little hidden secret, cut through that block around the Sweet Martha's crowd if you're trying to get to your gate."
Fairgrounds parking is available on a first-come basis for $15, cash only.
"There are parking lots that are just south of Como Avenue. They do fill quickly though, so if you plan on hoping to park there, make sure you come early to get a spot there. We do have a walking bridge that goes across Como Avenue from those parking lots over to the fair grounds."
If on-site parking is full, there are more options.
"Either use a Park N Ride, an Express Bus lot or take an Uber or Lyft if you want to park elsewhere. The Park N Ride lots are free from about thirty-four locations really close to the fair grounds and then the Express Bus lots are a little bit further out and those will cost just a small fee."
