(KNSI) - The winter weather the state received caused havoc on the roads statewide.

The Minnesota State Patrol says there were 410 crashes throughout the state from Monday at 8 a.m. to Tuesday at 10 a.m.

One of those crashes happened around 8:30 Tuesday morning on County Road 1 by the County Road 120 roundabout near the Sartell Walmart.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says two people were injured in the crash.

36 of the crashes involved injuries and was one fatal.

Troopers say 87-year-old Alfred Orlando Urke, of Murdoch, was killed Monday when the pickup truck he was riding in on Highway 12 in Benson collided with an SUV.

In addition to the crashes, the rain that turned to all snow contributed to 515 spin outs.

A semi jackknifed Monday night on Interstate-94 near the St. Cloud area.

The National Weather Service says St. Cloud received 0.4 inches of snow.

The Twin Cities saw a little more than two inches of snow.
