(KNSI) - For the thrill seekers looking for an adrenaline inducing fun-filled day, the Stearns County Quarry Park is open every day from 8 a.m. until 1/2 hour past sunset.
There are multiple quarries to choose from but the water temperature varies. During the week of June 1st the water temperature was 60 degrees. Last summer, the water reached 78 degrees. Although the water temperature may determine if you want to jump in, please remember there are no lifeguards on duty.
For those on a budget this summer, the Quarry Park is a great option. The park entrance fee is $5, or an annual pass costs $20.
If the gatehouse is unattended, there is a self-pay box in which guests are expected to fill out the envelope slip offered with their license plate number and money.
Failure to pay the entrance fee will result in a $10 fine.
For a safe and enjoyable experience check out the Stearns County Quarry Park this summer!
