(KNSI) - After a week off due to wet conditions, Summertime by George! returned Wednesday night.

The crowd was treated to the blues and jazz stylings of Davina & The Vagabonds.

With the temperature around 87 degrees when the show started and a heat index reading of around 100, the crowd wasn't quite as big as in other weeks.

But the people who came out were treated to a great show that got them up on their feet in front of the stage dancing.

People we spoke with about the heat said things like "at least we're not shoveling a bunch of snow."

Thankfully, skies were mostly cloudy during the show and there was a good breeze at times.

It's hard to believe, but we're almost already halfway through another season of Summertime by George!.

Next week's show by Matt Vee Family & Friends doing a Neil Diamond tribute will mark the halfway point.

The week after that is the Tom Petty tribute band Free Fallin.

You can check out the remaining schedule on the back of this guy's shirt below.
