(KNSI) - The former owner of a Waite Park massage parlor is being sentenced for promoting prostitution.
34 year old Yanhang Lin was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to the charge.
The Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force says they were tipped off to the activities by different sources who told them the workers at the massage parlor were engaging in sexual contact with guests.
Investigators conducting surveillance on the business also allegedly said three people there admitted to having sexual contact from a female masseuse. Waite Park police say a man also came to them and said he went to Riverwood for a massage and the masseuse there told him for an extra $100, she would engage in sexual contact with him.
Court records say Lin was the owner and operator of Riverwood Massage and Body Works in Waite Park at the time of the incidents.
Lin was sentenced to four years in prison.
The massage parlor has since closed.
