(KNSI) - A man is accused of robbing a man at a bus stop in St. Cloud.
Police say 25-year-old Travis Jon Parton and another man, identified as 23-year-old Andrew Robert Lind-Behrends, worked together to rob the man on the corner of 7th Avenue North and 5th Street North on September 13th.
The victim told police he was walking to a bus stop when Parton began hassling him for cigarettes and money.
According to the criminal complaint, Parton was on the phone and Lind-Behrends then showed up and punched the victim on the left side of his head.
Investigators say Parton then pulled a backpack off of the victim and dumped the contents.
The complaint states that Lind-Behrends picked up the victim’s wallet and took approximately $185 of cash.
The victim told police he was frightened, because the two men were younger and stronger than him.
Police say the victim was able to pick Parton and Lind-Behrends in a photo lineup.
On Friday, Parton was spotted by an officer in Benton County and arrested.
He is charged with aiding and abetting aggravated robbery in the first degree.
His next hearing is November 2nd.
Lind-Behrends hasn't been charged in connection with this incident.
