(KNSI) - The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says atleast one person broke into a shooting range and fired a rifle damaging numerous targets.

On February 17, a deputy responded to the range at Kimball Rod and Gun Club and found .223 rifle casings littering the area.

The sheriff's office says 15 targets were shot and damaged, and a storage shed was broken into.

The range is a member's only range and doesn't allow .223 caliber weapons.

The manager says he will be installing cameras and requested extra patrol from the sheriff's office.
