(KNSI) - Families struggling to pay for dental care for their children can get help in St. Cloud.
The non-profit Children's Dental Services, of Minneapolis, has teamed up with Stearns County to give dental care to low-income youth, up to age 26, and pregnant women at the Community Outpost in St. Cloud's southside neighborhood, 600 13th Street South.
They will be there on Friday (April 26th) and Monday (April 29) with more dates to come in May.
Children's Dental Services brings a full mobile dental unit to the COP House to provide the care.
When families schedule appointments they're offered the same treatment they would get at any dental clinic.
That includes an exam, x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fillings, extractions of primary teeth, crowns and more.
The non-profit offers its services twice a month at the COP House.
Since June of 2018, more than 190 people have received full dental services.
To schedule an appointment, call 612-746-1530 or 1-866-543-6009.
