(KNSI) - St. Cloud Floral is ready to supply thousands of flowers for people's sweethearts on their biggest day of the year, Valentine's Day.
Owner, Rhoda Paurus says preparation started months ago when she had to start placing orders to make sure to have enough product.
The flower shop has close to 20 drivers staffed to deliver their bouquets and keep up with the increased demand.
Paurus says it's a hectic time, but it's well worth the extra work to be a part of someone's special day.
"It's really a great time because people are really excited when they come in and they're excited when they get their delivery, and love it when they bring the kids with because their pretty excited about it."
Other than a dozen classic red roses, a mixed bouquet including roses is flying off the shelves.
"A favorite here in St. Cloud, we have a bouquet that's called lilies and roses and it's got the large stargazer lilies in combination with roses, so it makes up a beautiful, fragrant bouquet."
After moving from their downtown location to their current shop attached to the Midtown Square, she says customers love that they can pull up anytime and have free parking.
St. Cloud Floral processes orders for Valentine's Day until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Around 1,000 bouquets of flowers will help put smiles on people's faces during the flower shop's favorite holiday.
