(KNSI) - Investigators are looking into what caused a fire at the St. Martin Co-Op.

Firefighters were called to the business about 4:25 Thursday morning. When they got there they saw the fire was inside a storage shed. The fire was difficult to get at as it was inside a metal building and filled with tires, oils and seed, but there were no fertilizers or chemicals at risk of burning.

There were also some water issues. The tower where fire crews get water ran dry, so they had to truck in water from the river to put on the fire. At one point, part of a wall gave way, so firefighters were able to attack the fire from inside.

Firefighters from Paynesville, St. Martin and Albany were called out to help fight the fire.

No injuries were reported.
