(KNSI) - Two people were killed and two others injured in a crash a few miles north of Cold Spring.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened at around 8 o'clock Wednesday morning at County Road 2 and Island Lake Road.

The sheriff's office says a Mitsubishi Galant was going south on County Road 2 when the driver appeared to lose control of the vehicle, sliding sideways into the northbound lanes.

The Mitsubishi was then struck by a Buick LeSabre that was northbound.

The impact sent the Mitsubishi into a ditch where it rolled and two people were ejected.

The sheriff's office says the two people ejected died at the scene.

They were identified as Cody Alan Randall, 30, and JD Delance Randall, 24, of Washington City, Utah.

A third person in the Mitsubishi, Katie Seegmiller, 15, also of Washington City, was extricated from the vehicle by the Cold Spring Fire Department and flown to North Memorial Medical Center in critical condition.

The driver of the Buick, Sandra Martha Hansen, 64, of Cold Spring, was pulled from her car and taken by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital in stable condition.

The sheriff's office says Seegmiller (pictured below) was reported as missing/runaway on January 23rd from Washington City.

The two deceased in the crash were an uncle and a cousin.

Authorities in Washington City were concerned for the girl because she has a medical condition and might not have access to medications she needs.

Due to her condition after the crash, police have not been able to speak with the teen yet.
