(KNSI) - When Angie Johnson quit going to school seven and a half years ago to work part time at a dry cleaning business, she never thought she would end up owning it.

Angie recently became the owner of Hour Glass Cleaners on 7th Avenue South in downtown St. Cloud. She worked her way up the ranks and took over on March 1st.

She says she knew she always wanted to own a business; she just never knew what. Angie talked about what she likes best about dry cleaning.

"Making the customers happy, that's my biggest thing, I know I can make their clothes look great. I know they're always going to get everything back looking perfect, as much as I can each time."

While the owner has changed, she says they'll still offer the same great service.

Some other changes will be coming in the future.

"In the next three to five years there will be a lot of updates done to the store and we've already updated a lot so, we are eco-friendly."

She says they use new machines that allow them to recycle their cleaning solutions and are much more energy efficient.

Angie says the hardest stains to get out are paint and the most common are coffee and ink stains, but they can get them all.
