(KNSI) - The first bought with winter weather made for some difficult driving on the highways and interstate in the St. Cloud area.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers responded 22 crashes and four other vehicles that went off the road and needed assistance.


Three people from St. Joseph suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the pickup truck they were in slid sideways and rolled three times in a crash near Melrose around 10:45 Tuesday night.


The road was snow covered and ice packed at the time. The three were treated at the Sauk Centre Hospital.

The crashes took place from 5 p.m. on Tuesday and 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
