(KNSI) - The Minnesota State Fair is almost here!

The fair features hundreds of foods, adrenaline-inducing rides, your favorite musicians, and more.

Fair spokesperson, Danielle Dullinger told KNSI's Dan the Ox Oschner about some of the returning fan favorites.

"The Great Big Wheel was brand new two years ago, and this year we will be bringing that back. The 156 foot tall, beautiful, stunning Ferris wheel."

The Great Big Wheel is one of the tallest traveling giant Ferris wheels in North America. It's equipped with 36 enclosed gondolas that can hold up to six people.

If rides aren't your thing, consider checking out the International Bazaar market.

"The International Bazaar is a spot not only to eat, but they have great vendors and merchandise shopping and some really good entertainment too."

The market has cuisine, crafts, and shops representing regions around the world. Cultural music and dances are showcased daily on the Festival of Nations demonstration stage.

Listen to more music at the Grandstand Stage.

"We're kicking it off Thursday, August 22nd with Hootie and the Blowfish. On Sunday, August 25th, Trace Adkins and Clint Black. We also have "Weird Al" Yankovic. Lionel Richie will be at the fair on Friday, August 30th and then finally we're capping it off with ZZ Top and Cheap Trick."

Hootie and the Blowfish have sold-out, but tickets are still available for the other shows, online at mnstatefair.org.

The fair starts Thursday and runs through September 2nd.
