(KNSI) - A man and two women are facing charges after an investigation into drug dealing in the St. Cloud area.
Police say Jason Paul Baumer, of St. Cloud, was selling significant amounts of methamphetamine from his home on the 1100 block of 28th Avenue North, near North Junior High.
Investigators executed a search warrant on the home on March 29th.
According to the criminal complaint, police found methamphetamine, psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, brass knuckles and two women who lived at the home with Baumer.
36-year-old Melissa Susan Ziwicki (left) and Alicia Irene Allen (right) stated that all the meth in the home was Baumer’s.
Officers say they found a gun safe with two handguns and Baumer’s wallet inside.
Just before the search warrant was executed a car was seen leaving the home. Ziwicki told police Baumer was in the car.
According to the complaint, she called the 31-year-old with investigators and he refused to return to the home and take responsibility for the meth and advised Ziwicki to “lawyer up.”
Baumer has been charged with 2nd degree drug sale and firearm/ammunition possession by an ineligible person.
Investigators say, because the home is within a city block of a school a charge of committing a drug crime in a school zone could be filed. The investigation is ongoing.
Baumer is barred from owning or possessing firearms because of past convictions for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance in 2010 and 2013 and domestic assault in 2013.
He was arrested on July 5th. Baumer's bond was set at $200,000. His next court appearance is July 23rd.
Ziwicki has been charged with 2nd degree drug sale and 3rd degree drug possession. Allen has been charged with 5th degree drug possession.
