(KNSI) - The entire State of Minnesota is under an Air Quality Alert until noon Sunday.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency issued the alert for fine particle pollution from smoke from massive wildfires burning in Canada.
Air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive groups like the elderly, children and those with lung issues such as asthma and COPD.
People who are active outdoors should limit their exertion.
Officials say a south wind will bring cleaner air into Minnesota by Sunday afternoon.
