ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP/KNSI) - A federal judge says a St. Cloud couple will not be able to refuse wedding videography services for same-sex couples.
The judge dismissed Carl and Angel Larsen's lawsuit that challenged Minnesota human rights laws.
The Larsens run Telescope Media Group, a media production company, and want to go into the wedding film business.
They filed the suit in December on religious grounds, wanting to serve only heterosexual couples in their expanding Christian-based business.
The couple says the state "forces" it to promote same-sex marriage.
Penalties for not complying with the law range from $25,000 in punitive damages to up to 90 days in jail.
