(KNSI) – It’s turning into a full house on the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources EagleCam.
The first egg of the season was laid on Wednesday and more tend to typically follow every 48 to 72 hours afterward. The adult couple has been priming the nest since the beginning of the month. They could be seen on camera padding their nest with leaves and soft grass.
The female started slowing down, rarely leaving her perch as she got closer to laying her egg. The male has been supportive, bringing the soon-to-be mother her meals.
The location of the nest featured in the EagleCam is not disclosed but online viewing is always encouraged. You can find a link here.
