CentraCare Throwing Community Baby Shower

(KNSI) – CentraCare and Everyday Miracles are rocking the cradle with the biggest baby shower in central Minnesota.

All new and expecting moms are invited Thursday to the Great River Regional Library from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event is free and comes with plenty of games and a chance to win prizes. Refreshments will also be provided. There is no need to RSVP.

Everyday Miracles is devoted to reducing health disparities that exist during delivery. It is a partner in the new doula program at CentraCare. Moms at the community baby shower will receive information to reduce complications that endanger the child and the mother during pregnancy and into infancy.

A doula does not have formal obstetric training but can help with several aspects of labor and provide emotional and educational support.

The main branch of the Great River Regional Library system is located in St. Cloud at 1300 W. St. Germain Street.
