(KNSI) – A Foley Public Schools bus went off the road Tuesday afternoon while students were on board. One was injured.

The incident happened in Morrison County, about 10 miles southeast of Buckman. The sheriff’s office said they were called out at about 4:25 to 355th Avenue and 61st Street.

The driver was a 22-year-old man from Waite Park. He lost control, and the bus went into the south ditch and hit a culvert. A 10-year-old girl from Hillman was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. She went with her family rather than in an ambulance.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating. The Minnesota State Patrol, MLMB First Response Team, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
