(KNSI) — One person is dead, and another was seriously injured following a shooting Wednesday in St. Cloud.

According to police, at 7:25 p.m., officers were called to the 600 block of Wilson Avenue Southeast for a report of multiple gunshots. The caller said a woman was in the front yard of the home and was injured. The 34-year-old victim had been shot six times in the entryway of the home and on the steps. Inside, officers found a man who had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was rushed to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital, where she was listed in serious but stable condition.

Investigators say they believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute between the two, who both lived at the home where the shooting happened. Their children were there at the time, but they were not hurt.

No names have been released. The Midwest Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy.

The investigation is ongoing.
