(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Rox are adding even more top collegiate depth to this year’s squad.

In late February, the club announced two Big Ten players and a Big 12 athlete would be on the roster manning the infield. Now, four pitchers from the Big 12 have signed. The 2024 squad is shaping up to be among the most talented ever.

Candon Dahle and Hayden Coon are both BYU Cougars. Dahle was first-team All-Alaska League last summer, finishing with a 3.61 ERA in 42.1 innings. He already has nine strikeouts early in the college season.

Coon won the California JUCO Championship with Riverside City College in 2022. The right-hander is pitching for BYU for the first time this season. He’s allowed no runs in two relief appearances this spring.

Dominic Castellano from the University of Central Florida is a junior. He has punched out six in just 5.2 innings, allowing only one run this spring. Last year in the Valley League, Castellano was spectacular in over 34 innings. His ERA was barely above one.

The final signing comes from Baylor University. Jackson Wilkerson is in his freshman season with the Bears. Last year, he set the Lake Creek (TX) High School record with a 0.66 ERA.
