(KNSI) — The St. Cloud City Council Monday night approved adding another electric vehicle charging station.
The station will be installed at the Stearns History Museum. The city is looking at a Carbon Reduction Program grant of $200,000 with a $50,000 local share match and chose the site because there aren’t any stations in the west end. It is also close to Highway 15.
There are also stations at Holiday off Interstate 94, Riverside Park, and the Empire apartments.
The fast charging station will be installed this year.
