(KNSI) – Shoppers at the Mall of America will be the first to see the final state flag designs in person rather than through a screen.

The State Emblems Redesign Commission will proudly display the fabric flags in the Huntington Bank Rotunda this weekend. You can take in all six from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday or 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Even if you’re done picking out presents, the rotunda will have live music and other entertainment besides the flags.

An online unofficial poll was conducted by the State Emblems Redesign Commission recently, with F29 picked as the favorite. You can see that below. The viewing this weekend is to see if viewing each design in person sways public opinion on which finalist should be chosen.

A new design has to be officially adopted by January 1st. The commission has the ability to modify the pattern it selects as needed.
