(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Rox Baseball Club will help off the field under a new name.

The Project S.A.V.E. Foundation is being rebranded as the Rox Community Foundation. The aims and goals of the organization are not changing. Since 2019, the nonprofit has raised over $500,000. It has been named the Northwoods League Community Program of the Year.

Managing Partner Scott Schreiner says, “As the Foundation has evolved, we wanted a name that reflects the community more. The entire Rox organization is very proud of the Rox Community Foundation and are excited about the future and impact it will continue to have on improving the lives of kids in our community.”

The club has had a huge effect in the classroom, too. The Rox Reading Program, which has been in place for 12 years, saw over 16,000 students in central Minnesota take part in April from 43 elementary schools during the month of April.

The name change comes with a new logo and website. Learn more about the foundation here.
