(KNSI) – Garbage collection and the BLUE Recycle Route will be paused for Thanksgiving this Thursday in St. Cloud.

The city says homes and businesses that would normally see trucks rumbling by this week will instead have pick-up on Monday, November 27th. The rest of the week remains the same.

The Thursday GREEN Recycle Route is still scheduled for the holiday. It is made up of neighborhoods west of the Sauk River. The cutoff runs from Rivers Edge Park along 54th Avenue North to County Road 134 and then over to Highway 15 until you hit County Road 120 and the Sartell city limit.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day are not expected to affect collections. The city is divided between four garbage and eight recycling routes split evenly from Tuesday through Friday each week.
