For the Northwoods League’s 30th anniversary season, each division will have a mid-summer classic. Bismarck is hosting the Great Plains contest on Tuesday, August 1st. A home run derby is scheduled for the night before.

The Rox contingent consists of four pitchers and two position players. The full list of names is below.

– Infielder Jackson Hauge
– Centerfielder John Nett
– Left-handed pitcher Cade Lommel
– Left-handed pitcher Mason Olson
– Right-handed pitcher Piercen McElyea
– Right-handed pitcher Tommy Gross

The Rox have the second-largest contingent behind the Mankato Moondogs. The team is currently 32-20 on the season. The Rox are home from Wednesday through Sunday leading up to the break.

It’s been a big week for Nett, who has been a standout on the diamond at St. Cloud State University in addition to the Rox. Nett recently announced that he will transfer to the Big 12. He’ll join the Kansas University Jayhawks in 2024.
