Sports Wrap: ROCORI Baseball Loses Doubleheader, Little Falls Advances to AAA Tournament

Game One: Little Falls 6, ROCORI 1: Flyers pitcher Carter Gwost gives up a run in the first inning but shuts down ROCORI the rest of the way for a complete-game victory.

Game Two: Little Falls 13, ROCORI 9: ROCORI was up 9-1 after three innings but the Flyers score the final 12 runs and sweep a doubleheader for a spot in the AAA state tournament. The backbreaker for the Spartans came in the top of the sixth. Down 10-9, Little Falls was threatening again with runners at first and second with two outs. A soft chopper to second turned into an error and the bases were loaded. Rightfielder Carter Gwost singled to score two and the Flyers were up three runs. They tacked on another in the seventh.
