(KNSI) – The 35th Liberty Block Party at Whitney Park on June 23rd is sure to be something good.

Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits anchor the lineup with The Cowsills and The Rockin’ Hollywoods. Herman’s Hermits were founded in 1964 in Manchester, England. They are known for upbeat and playful hits like ‘I’m Henry VIII, I Am’ and ‘Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat.’ They are also known for sentimental favorites like ‘Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter and ‘Kind of A Hush.’

Also taking the stage are The Cowsills. The group was the basis for the Partridge Family television show. At the band’s peak, The Cowsills had six siblings in the lineup, then ages eight to 19. Their most famous hit is the title song to the play Hair, which reached number two in the U.S. and topped the charts in several countries around the world in the late-60’s.

The block party is sponsored by Liberty Bank and anchors the Friday lineup for St. Cloud’s Granite City Days festival that runs from June 22nd to the 25th. It begins at 5:00 p.m.
