(KNSI) – St. Cloud Area Restaurant Week ends with sandwiches. A Cuban, a burger, something inspired by Hawaii…it’s all game as long as it fits between two slices of bread.

Howie’s Sports Bar carves up the best of the best, putting ribeye on a hoagie bun with Swiss cheese, onions, green peppers, and Au Jus. Ippin Ramen and Izakaya in Waite Park is promoting a Japanese delicacy. Char Siu Pork uses a soft steamed bun, somewhat different than an American sandwich. Pork, lettuce, tangy Japanese mayo, and eel sauce fill the doughy pita.

Pios Sangwich Shop in Sauk Rapids is cooking up a Cuban sandwich. Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles on a panini. Shooter’s Saloon and Eatery is spicing up an offering of its own, using Hawaii as an inspiration. Pineapples, bacon, jalapenos, and cream cheese top a burger.

MT’s on 8th is making a monster of a burger. The sasquatch comes with a third of a pound of beef, bacon, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and onions.

The last three offerings are sandwiches through and through. Jimmy’s Pour House of Sauk Rapids takes thinly sliced prime rib and smothers it in fried onions, parmesan cheese, and garlic sauce. The Smokin’ Triple Stack from Firehouse Subs has honey ham, turkey, and brisket blended together. The Kitchen at the Copper Pony is dressing up a grilled cheese with artichoke, pesto, and sun-dried tomato.
