(KNSI) – A corridor study is looking at the existing and future needs for River Avenue North where it connects the cities of St. Cloud and Sartell.
The stretch of CSAH 1 being examined runs from Ninth Avenue North to the roundabout near Wal-Mart where the road meets Stearns County Road 120. An open house is set for Tuesday, May 23rd, at the Sartell Community Center at 5:00 p.m. It will define the needs for traffic in the area and how to best ensure that demand is met.
As we hit summertime, the group will look at potential alternatives. In the fall, it will make final recommendations for future construction.
Helping Stearns County with the study is Transportation Collaborative & Consultants, or TC2, based out of the Twin Cities.
