Restaurant Week Highlights Healthy Foods To Sweet Treats

(KNSI) – The second St. Cloud Area Restaurant Week begins on Monday, with 50 eateries taking part.

The theme lineup is completely different from last year. Visit Greater St. Cloud Executive Director Rachel Thompson says a lot of attention was paid to Sunday to ensure that they could maximize participation.

“There’s a lot of businesses that are closed on Sundays and we wanted to make sure that the category that fits Sunday was appropriate for the most being open. From the ones that we thought might submit, Sunday looks to be the best for sandwiches.”

Restaurant Week starts with health-conscious options on the 15th. Tuesday is seafood, followed by pasta on Wednesday. When Thursday rolls around, you finally get to indulge with sweet treats. Friday features beer and beverages. Saturday is a chance to take a deep dive into local menus with unique finds.

Even though it doesn’t start until Monday, your chance to win is available now. Thompson says it’s easy to get registered.

“On visitgreaterstcloud.com, you can search Restaurant Week and there’s forms to submit your name to be able to submit for a $50 gift card. There’s seven of them. They’ll be given away during Restaurant Week and announced on our Facebook page.”
