(KNSI) – Catholic Charities will hold another spring concert at Pioneer Place on Fifth in downtown St. Cloud this year.

The headlining performers for The Reason are Janelle Kendall’s Perfect Storm. They’ll take the stage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27th. Perfect Storm is a relatively new band featuring an all-star lineup of local musicians. The roster includes Mark Hasbrouck, Dan Witte, Mark Levandowski, Matt Moline, Alex Kendall, Pat Curto and Carolyn Yaggie-Heinen. It formed during the pandemic.

The concert will benefit programs and services offered by the organization. Tickets are $25 for general admission. They can be purchased online.

Catholic Charities Executive Director Steve Pareja says his group is excited to have Kendall involved with the concert. “There are so many reasons why our mission is important to Central Minnesota and the audience will discover several of those reasons while enjoying outstanding live music in the intimate setting of Pioneer Place On Fifth!”

Kendall, who is Stearns County Attorney in addition to being a standout on stage, says she often interacts with people who are being helped by Catholic Charities. “In my day job, I see the positive effect that Catholic Charities has on our community. From the food shelf to safe housing to supporting those who cannot support themselves-Catholic Charities provides a safety net and a positive environment for everyone.”
