High School Football

(6-2) ROCORI 42, Big Lake 0: The Spartans snap a two-game losing streak. Quarterback Jack Spanier was 7-11 for 98 yards and a touchdown. ROCORI ran for 254 yards as a team. Mason Dahl paced the squad with 82 yards and four scores.

(3-5) Sartell 46, Bemidji 7: Sabres quarterback Cole Hentges was nearly perfect, going 14-19 for 401 yards and five touchdowns. That equates to nearly 30 yards per completion. Hentges added 53 yards on the ground.

Monticello 39, (6-2) Sauk Rapids-Rice 14: Storm quarterback Keegan Patterson found sophomore Hudson Omoke twice but the Magic pulled a rabbit out of their hat and delivered the upset. Major Jungels had three first-half touchdown runs to spark Monticello.

Coon Rapids 62, (1-7) Apollo 0

(5-3) Albany 22, Zimmerman 14: Husky punt returner Jack Rieland took one to the house from 47 yards out. Tight end Ethan Borgerding had two touchdown receptions, part of a three-catch, 72-yard effort.

(4-4) Annandale 35, Litchfield 6: The Cardinals scored five times before half. Quarterback Nick Walter accounted for three of those, two by air and one on the ground.

(1-7) Foley 26, Holy Family 15: Josiah Peterson ran for three touchdowns, including a 21-yard scamper and a 34-yard sprint to the end zone.

(7-1) Milaca 22, Little Falls 14
(6-2) Princeton 47, (1-7) St. Cloud Cathedral 20

(2-6) Holdingford 34, Melrose 7: The Huskers pulled away with 21 points in the fourth quarter. Ryder Petersen and Luke Bieniek combined for 27 carries, 237 yards, and four rushing touchdowns. Holdingford enters the playoffs on a two-game winning streak.
